Utilizing 3D Printing, I print a majority of the pony beads used in this piece. The weaving technique used is called a Peyote Stitch, and I use a 3mm cord that is sturdy and difficult to break. The interior of the mask has foam pads sewn into the beads and the mask itself. No glue or adhesives were used in creating this piece.

I am inspired by the wildlife and beauty of nature that surrounds me every day I am in Jackson. I wanted to start making masks inspired by some of the animals and wildlife. This one is inspired and named after the Grand Prismatic Hot Springs of Yellowstone National Park, designed using 3D-printed gradient rainbow beads.
