My grandmother loved butterflies, and this is partially influenced by her and her love for nature, as well as my early days going to music festivals where we'd trade and give a bracelets and necklaces to others, simply out of being kind and respectful of one another. Sometimes we'd start beading and crafting circles at campout festivals and teach each other new patterns and encourage each other in our crafts.
